What Skin Boosters Do
Skin boosters are not a filler treatment. They do not add volume or reshape features. They work by delivering hyaluronic acid into the dermis, thereby improving the skin’s ability to retain moisture and stimulating collagen production. The result is improved skin quality across the treated area.
As hyaluronic acid levels in the skin decline with age, moisture retention falls, and skin loses the quality that makes it look plump and well-rested. Skin boosters replace what has been lost where it matters most.

Skin Boosters vs Profhilo
Both use hyaluronic acid, and both improve skin hydration, texture, and collagen production. Profhilo uses a very high concentration of free-flowing HA from five injection points per side, producing a widespread remodelling effect. Skin boosters use a lighter formulation delivered via multiple micro-injections across the area, making them better suited for precise targeting in areas like the neck, hands, and décolletage. What to Expect
Consultation
Proper skin assessment. We will confirm whether skin boosters are right for you and agree on a plan. No obligation to proceed.
Before Treatment
Arrive without makeup if possible. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand.
During Treatment
A series of micro-injections using a fine needle. Volite includes a mild anaesthetic. 30-45 minutes for the face.
After Treatment
Small raised bumps at injection sites resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Mild bruising possible. Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and extremes of heat for 48 hours. Skip makeup on the day.
Results
Improved skin quality is typically noticeable within a week. Continued improvement as HA integrates and stimulates collagen. Results last up to six months. A course of two to three sessions in the first year, then maintenance, is a common plan.

This was my first time ever getting any cosmetic procedure done, and I’m so glad I chose to have this experience done at define with Rosie. Going into my appointment, I was feeling a little apprehensive as to how my results were going to turn out. I just wanted something to help get rid of a few lines on my forehead without anyone noticing that I had anything done. Rosie took all of my points into consideration and she exceeded my expectations. Not only did she try to calm my nerves by bringing me water and making sure my experience was enjoyable, she also made sure that I was completely comfortable with everything she was doing and she made sure that I had all the knowledge I needed before I continued with the procedure.
One thing I will say about define, it’s a little on the pricier side however, it is worth every penny. You are paying for quality and good results!

I had Botox treatment for the first time ever back in 2021, with Dr Teuta Berisha. I have since gone back twice for a top-up and will remain a loyal client of hers. I am very picky and (understandably) selective with my face, but Dr Berisha made me so comfortable and her attention to detail is to be praised.
