Skin Boosters (VOLITE)

Unfortunately over time our skin can age due to a loss of hyaluronic acid and collagen. This leads to reduced skin quality which can make us look tired and sad when we do not necessarily feel that way.
In addition to a good daily skin care routine further measures are needed to provide hydration from within.

Hyaluronic acid skin boosters such as Juvéderm Volite help to replace the amount you have lost over time. Volite, an innovative, next-generation product delivers a burst of hydration to the face, neck, hands, and décolletage improving skin quality and its firmness in these areas.

Volite utilises the power of hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally produced by the body and found in the skin, to stimulate the production of collagen and retain moisture, providing healthy hydration from the inner layers. This produces stunning, natural results and improves the overall health of the skin, making it appear brighter and more youthful.

At Define Clinic, all facial aesthetic treatments are performed by our expert team, selected and led by Dr Benji Dhillon. Prior to treatment, an in depth consultation will be performed by Dr Dhillon to assess the best way to achieve your desired results and outline what to expect from the procedure.

Frequently asked questions

Unlike other treatments that focus on improving skin health, such as chemical peels, there is minimal downtime with Volite, and normal activities can continue the same day. Small bumps and bruises may occur, though this should subside within a few days and can be covered with makeup. However it is recommended that patients should avoid alcohol and applying makeup for 12 hours post-treatment. Patients should not undergo strenuous activity, such as exercise, for 48 hours.
We ask that you come in to the clinic 30 minutes before your treatment so that we can apply some numbing cream to the face. During the treatment, Volite is injected with a very fine needle to minimise discomfort. Applied in a series of dots, Volite alo contains an anaesthetic in the formula to reduce any potential pain, so patients should not be anxious about whether or not they can expect it to hurt.
Most patients continue to see improvement for up to 6 months after their initial treatment, though the longevity can be extended with regular top-ups.
It is important to let Dr Dhillon know of any medications you have taken in the last six months. Patients who have recently taken Warfarin, aspirin, or any blood-thinning medications are at increased risk of bruising. Prices start from £499.
