The best way to often treat drooping corners of the mouth is to consider replacing, very subtly, volume in the cheeks with dermal fillers to ‘lift’ the jawline up.
With time the bones of our face flatten and we lose volume in our cheeks which help to ‘hold up’ the jawline. As a result there is a gradual sagging of the face leading to the formtaion of deep lines and folds as well as drooping corners of the mouth.
Patients with drooping mouth corners find that, as well as ageing the face considerably, drooping corners can make them look sad and angry when this is not the case and does not reflect the real you.
