Conditions We Treat
The concerns people actually arrive with, in the words they actually use.
Start With the Concern
You don’t need to know the name of a treatment to book a consultation. Most people arrive with the thing that bothers them, not the thing that fixes it.
That’s what these pages are for. Each one takes a single concern, explains what causes it, what tends to help and what won’t, then points you at the treatment that matches. No selling. The treatment pages do that job, and they do it better with the honest version sitting behind them.
Some of what’s here has a fix. Some of it has a management plan. Some of it is normal, and the useful answer is that nothing needs to be done at all.
Find Your Concern
Grouped by area, in the words people actually use. Every line goes to a page about the concern, not a page about a treatment.
Crow’s Feet
The lines that fan out when you smile
Forehead Lines
Horizontal lines and the vertical frown between the brows.
Facial Wrinkles
Lines at rest, lines in movement, and the difference between them.
Smoker’s Lines
The fine vertical lines above the top lip.
Thin Lips
Lips that have thinned, or never had much shape to begin with.
Sunken Cheeks
A mid-face that has flattened or hollowed.
Wide Jaw
A jaw that has squared or widened, often from clenching.
Double Chin
The fullness under the jaw that stays no matter what you weigh.
Dark Circles & Eye Bags
Shadowing and puffiness under the eye.
Sunken Eyes
Hollowing that makes the eye look set back.
Facial Redness & Rosacea
Flushing, persistent redness, and skin that reacts to everything.
Facial Veins
The fine red threads across the nose and cheeks.
Stomach Fat
The fat around the middle that stays through every diet.
Love Handles
The fat that sits over the hips.
Bra Fat
The roll that shows above and around a bra strap.
Bingo Wings
Fullness on the back of the upper arm.
Banana Rolls
The crease of fat that sits under the buttock.
Thigh Fat
Inner and outer thigh fullness.
Mummy Tummy
The abdomen after pregnancy, which isn’t the same problem
Loose Skin
Skin that has lost its snap, often after weight loss.
Stretch Marks
The silver or red lines are left behind by rapid change.
Excessive Sweating
Sweating that antiperspirant can’t keep up with.
Pigmentation
Sun damage, age spots and patches of uneven tone.
Acne Scars
The texture left behind once the acne itself has gone.
Scarring
Scars from surgery, injury and everything else.
Dull & Dehydrated Skin
Skin that looks tired and flat rather than damaged.
Why Define Clinic
The concerns here are described the way patients describe them, not the way a price list does. That’s deliberate.
Dr Benji Dhillon and the medical team see these every week, and the pattern rarely changes: the thing someone names is often not the thing that needs treating. A tired face is usually a volume problem. A double chin is sometimes a jawline problem. Untangling that is what the consultation is actually for.

Bring it anyway. This covers what we're asked about most often, not everything a consultation can look at.
No. Conditions are explained, treatment pages go into detail, and cost gets discussed at consultation once anyone knows what you actually need.
Often, yes. Several of these concerns share a cause, which is why the plan that emerges from a consultation usually looks nothing like the list of pages you clicked to get there.
Name the Thing That Bothers You
Standfirst: You don’t need the right word for it. Bring the concern, and we’ll work backwards from there.
