Post-Acne Scarring
Rolling and boxcar scars respond well to microneedling. The treatment breaks down fibrous scar tissue and stimulates the production of new collagen. A course of sessions spaced four to six weeks apart typically produces the most meaningful improvement.
Lines and Early Skin Ageing
Microneedling boosts collagen production in the areas treated, improving skin thickness and reducing fine lines. Works well on its own and can be combined with skin boosters or anti-wrinkle injections for more comprehensive results.
Uneven Tone and Pigmentation
Treatment encourages skin cell turnover and helps break down excess melanin deposits. Effective for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma. High SPF is essential during and after a course of treatment.
Rough Texture and Open Pores
Rough texture, congested skin, and visibly enlarged pores all improve with treatment. The collagen produced during healing thickens and smooths the dermis over time.
Stretch Marks on the Body
Stimulates collagen and elastin in the affected area. Results are gradual but meaningful, particularly for mature stretch marks. Multiple sessions are usually required.
Skin That Has Lost Its Glow
Patients whose skin looks flat, tired, or has lost radiance often use microneedling as a reset. Combining with skin boosters or PRP amplifies the result.

Skin assessment and agreed treatment plan. Shapes needle depth, session count, and whether to combine with PRP.
Preparing for Treatment
Avoid retinoids, acids, and active exfoliants for a few days beforehand. Numbing cream is applied 30 to 45 minutes before the session.
During the Session
The device moves methodically across the treatment area. Most patients describe a light scratching or mild vibration. 45-60 minutes for the face.
After Your Session
Redness and mild swelling settle within 24 hours. Some skin flaking over the following days. High SPF is essential for at least four weeks. Avoid makeup for 24 hours.
What You Can Expect to See
Improved skin quality is often noticeable within a week. Full collagen remodelling takes three to four months. For acne scarring, a course of three to six sessions is usually recommended.

This was my first time ever getting any cosmetic procedure done, and I’m so glad I chose to have this experience done at define with Rosie. Going into my appointment, I was feeling a little apprehensive as to how my results were going to turn out. I just wanted something to help get rid of a few lines on my forehead without anyone noticing that I had anything done. Rosie took all of my points into consideration and she exceeded my expectations. Not only did she try to calm my nerves by bringing me water and making sure my experience was enjoyable, she also made sure that I was completely comfortable with everything she was doing and she made sure that I had all the knowledge I needed before I continued with the procedure.
One thing I will say about define, it’s a little on the pricier side however, it is worth every penny. You are paying for quality and good results!

I had Botox treatment for the first time ever back in 2021, with Dr Teuta Berisha. I have since gone back twice for a top-up and will remain a loyal client of hers. I am very picky and (understandably) selective with my face, but Dr Berisha made me so comfortable and her attention to detail is to be praised.
