Droopy nose
- We use dermal fillers as part of non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment or even Botox to stop the muscles pulling down the nose.
If the tip of your nose naturally points downwards, you may have what is called a droopy nose, known medically as nasal tip ptosis. The drooping of the nose may look more apparent when you smile. A drooping nose may be present from birth, as a result of an elongated septum, cartilages, or nasal bridge, though it can be gained as a side effect of a previous surgical rhinoplasty procedure weakening support to the tip. A drooping nose may also be age related, as a decrease in collagen and bone weakens the connective tissues and the skin begins to thin.
At Define Clinic, we use dermal fillers as part of non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment or even Botox to stop the muscles pulling down the nose. This adds definition to the nose, providing lift to the droop for a beautiful, natural looking side profile.
