What a year 2021 has been for us all! We are so thankful that Define Clinic had another successful year, and welcomed so many new and current patients through our doors. And with that, came lots of treatments! New treatments were introduced, as well as new staff! Let’s delve into some of our most popular treatments this year… 

Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Will forever and always be one of our favourite treatments, as well as our most popular! And no wonder, it is in fact the most popular non-surgical facial aesthetics treatment in the world. Anti-Wrinkle Injections, or , is a neurotoxic protein by the clostridium botulinum. In scientific terms, it acts by blocking the path between the neurotransmitters and muscles, effectively paralysing the muscles. Anti-wrinkle injections can be commonly used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, including the forehead, crow’s feet (lines around the eyes), smoker’s lines (lines around the mouth), frown lines, hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating, and teeth grinding. Advanced techniques, can also be used to slim down the jawline and improve bands in the neck.

The Define Fusion Facial
A Define Fusion Facial, also known as Dermal Infusion, is a highly versatile treatment for combating a range of skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation, breakouts, dehydration and photodamage, as well as early signs of ageing for a youthful glow. Simultaneously exfoliating the skin, extracting impurities, and adding bespoke serums to treat your unique skin conditions. It is a highly effective way to achieve smoother, clearer and firmer skin for all skin types. resulting in immediate, long-lasting results. The treatment is suitable for many areas in the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, arms, and upper back, and is gentle enough for use on sensitive areas such as around the eyes and lips.

A combination of the ancient Chinese Gua Sha massage techniques using warmed jade stones to promote healing and circulation in the skin, and the Dermal Infusion facial which unblocks pores with gentle suction, exfoliates dead skin and infuses serum into the skin, followed by an application of a collagen mask. 

Filler Treatments
Under our facial skin, there are a number of important pockets of fat. In our youth, these pockets are full of volume and help to hold up the face. However, as we age we produce less collagen and fat which leads to these pockets ‘deflating’. This leads to sagging, hollowing and the formation of folds. Dermal fillers are a popular non-surgical procedure to subtly add a little volume to these pockets and help ‘lift’ up the face in a natural, understated way to rejuvenate and refresh.

Exilis
Here at Define Clinic, we love the results we’re seeing from Exilis. Exilis is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment that requires absolutely no numbing cream or anaesthetic. That not only means that this treatment is super safe, but it’s also super comfortable. With Exilis, you’ll only need as little as four sessions spaced about one or two weeks apart from each other to be able to feel the full benefit of the treatment. This treatment is great in the lead up to Christmas and Christmas parties.
