Profhilo Body is a new and upcoming treatment that Define Clinic is extremely excited about. What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a unique, injectable hyaluronic acid gel. It provides one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available on the market. It hydrates and lifts the skin to reduce the effects of aging and restore youthful radiance.
What are the benefits of Profhilo Body?
Profhilo doesn’t just give the skin a boost of hydration, but actually lifts the skin to give an incredibly rejuvenating effect. Treatment with Profhilo improves skin tone, texture, hydration and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness, elasticity and promote healthier softer-looking skin. It achieves this through the stimulation of collagen and elasticity. Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenate the many areas of the body, which is something we have very recently introduced at Define Clinic.
What does the treatment involve and how long do results last?
Similar to Profhilo face. It’s recently launched and the only injectable treatment out there to treat body skin laxity. Involves 10 injection points, similar protocol to the face, where you need fewer injections than other traditional skinboosters. The kit includes – 2 treatments, to be spaced 4 weeks apart. Results last 6 months. You may need more treatments for desired results. After this, you can expect to see intense hydration. It makes the skin glow, fine lines can disappear and you’ll notice smoother tighter skin.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal, included in the skin is the Profhilo figure body patches which are placed over the treatment area to soothe and moisturise the skin.
Are the results instant?
Results are usually seen after the 2nd treatment. However, some people have noticed results after their 1st session of Profhilo Body.
